Cygames, Inc. revealed information about a collaboration with the anime Frieren: Beyond Journey's End starting Monday, December 29, 2025, during an official broadcast for the next-generation smartphone card game Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond (hereafter referred to as Shadowverse WB).
Shadowverse WB and Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Collaboration Confirmed!
It was announced that a collaboration between Shadowverse WB and the popular anime Frieren: Beyond Journey's End will be held starting Monday, December 29, 2025.
Frieren appears in the Exchange Tickets.
Leader Set, Card Style & Home Screen Background Set, and Visage Set that allows the background illustration to change over time were revealed.
Furthermore, various events such as the Collaboration Commemorative Park Event and an SNS campaign to win original collaboration merchandise will also be held.

Collaboration Commemoration! Deck Giveaway Campaign, Events, and More

Deck Giveaway Campaign
To commemorate the collaboration with Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, a campaign will be held where decks are given to all users.
You can choose and obtain your favorite one from recommended decks for four classes.
Get Something! New Year's Shadowverse Campaign!
By logging in for eight days during the period from after the maintenance on Monday, December 29, 2025, to Tuesday, January 27, 2026, you can obtain the leader skin for that collaboration character, as well as card sleeves, emblems, and a total of 30 card packs.
In addition, an SNS campaign will be held to guess which character's leader skin will appear.
Post on X with the hashtag #フリーレンリーダースキンなんだろな (What is the Frieren Leader skin?)!
The results are scheduled to be announced on the Shadowverse WB official X account (@shadowverse_jp) on Saturday, December 27, 2025.
Card Pack Set with Purchase Bonus
A card pack set will be sold where you can definitely obtain bonuses that can be used in-game, such as card styles, for each set purchased.
The sales period is from after the maintenance on Monday, December 29, 2025, to 11:59 PM JST on Monday, January 5, 2026.
Collaboration Commemorative Park Event
A park event commemorating the collaboration will be held!
You can receive luxurious rewards according to the number of battles played in the park.

Collaboration Dungeon
In the collaboration dungeon, Frieren and others appear as bosses!
You will collect Grimoires by clearing battles and missions.
By collecting Grimoires, you can obtain event-limited card styles such as the following:
- Awakening Spell (Card Style)
- Test of Worth (Card Style)
Additionally, puzzles will appear in the collaboration dungeon.
They are difficult and intended for intermediate players, but you can get Grimoires with your first clear.
The event period is from after the maintenance on Monday, December 29, 2025, to Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
3rd Shadowverse Battle Fes
The Shadowverse Battle Fes will be held, where you are guaranteed to receive rewards for the team you choose!
The teams are divided by the desired card style, and you can participate in the event by choosing from the following three teams:
- Frieren
- Fern
- Stark
Additionally, the lobby decorations will change to collaboration specifications during the event period.
The event period is from 3:00 PM JST on Friday, January 16, 2026, to 7:59 PM JST on Sunday, January 18, 2026.
Special Collaboration-Limited Rewards
Special rewards can be obtained through the lobby tournament, New Beginnings Cup, the Grand Prix, Journey of Learning Cup, and the victory reward campaign.
SNS Campaign to Win Original Merchandise Is Being Held!
To commemorate the collaboration with Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, a follow & like campaign is being held on the Shadowverse WB official Instagram (@shadowverse_jp).
From those who like and follow, 50 winners will be selected by lottery to receive an original acrylic block from the Frieren: Beyond Journey's End collaboration.
The campaign period is from Sunday, January 4, 2026, to 11:59 PM JST on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
Additionally, the Shadowverse WB Deck Diagnosis will appear, which diagnoses the perfect deck for you from the four types of decks obtainable in the deck giveaway campaign.
