The movie "Sonic the Hedgehog 2" ("Sonic the Movie/ Sonic VS Knuckles") reaches $331.64 million worldwide at the box office

Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Hollywood's live-action adaptation of the popular Japanese character Sonic, has grossed $303.164 million worldwide, surpassing its predecessor's $319.71 million, SEGA Corporation announced on Friday, May 6, 2022, that Sonic the Movie: Sonic vs. Knuckles has grossed $330.64 million at the worldwide box office, surpassing the previous film's $319.71 million. The film is co-produced by SEGA Corporation and its U.S. subsidiary, SEGA of America, Inc. and is scheduled for a nationwide roadshow in Japan on Friday, August 19, 2022.
