Acer Inc. announced the C250i, a next-generation mobile projector that can be easily connected wirelessly from a smartphone.
World's First Auto Portrait Mode
The "C250i" is equipped with the world's first "Auto Portrait Mode " that automatically rotates the screen according to the orientation of the smartphone. As of September 4, 2019, according to Acer research.
The projector supports vertical display of social networking sites and video chats, so that the screen can be filled with vertical images that would otherwise be left blank on the screen with conventional projectors.
Stand-free design that supports multiple angles
The body of the C250i has a unique dodecahedral design.

The "C250i" can be adjusted for flat and vertical trapezoidal correction and 4-point corner correction.
The C250i can be adjusted +/- 30° vertically and +/- 15° horizontally, making it easy to set up the projector at the correct projection angle.
The 4-point corner correction function allows correction using four corners.
Powerful sound with built-in Bluetooth speakers
The built-in Bluetooth 5W speaker enables wireless output of not only video, but also music and sound.

The C250i uses LEDs as its light source to achieve a color gamut of 130% Rec. 709.

The "C250i" is now available for pre-order on Makuake, one of the largest crowdfunding services in Japan.
The first 150 units will be available at a 25% discount of 48,600 yen (including tax) and will be delivered by the end of November 2020.
A maintenance cloth will be included as a return item exclusively for "Makuake" purchasers.
