Yokohama Hakkejima Sea Paradise announced the Animal Crossing: New Horizons × Yokohama Hakkejima Sea Paradise: "Hakkeijima Umi no Ikimono Fureai Ten" as a collaboration project with Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
This event marks the first time in three years it has been held, and will feature new events appearing for the first time as well as special merchandise for sale.

Yokohama Hakkejima Inc. announced that the Animal Crossing: New Horizons × Yokohama Hakkejima Sea Paradise: "Hakkeijima Umi no Ikimono Fureai Ten" collaborating with Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be held from Wednesday, April 17 to Tuesday, July 9, 2024.
This marks the first time in three years since the previous event was held, and you can experience the charms of sea creatures through various activities under the theme of "Umi no Ikimono" (sea creatures).
In addition to the content from the previous event, new content such as the Sea Animal Show will be implemented, making for an even more substantial event.
Observe Over 100 Variations of Creatures That Appear in Animal Crossing: New Horizons! Special Exhibition of Fish and Sea Creatures

While these are creatures you can get by fishing in the oceans and rivers within the Animal Crossing: New Horizons game, over 100 variations of creatures (including specimens) that appear in Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be on display.
Original commentary panels will also appear at each tank, where you can learn trivia about the creatures from aquarium staff and read Blathers' commentary that can be heard in-game.

Go Meet the Residents in the Aquarium! Stamp Rally Held

A stamp rally will be held where you travel around four aquariums where the fish and sea creatures of this project are exhibited.
Find the stamp stands featuring illustrations of Animal Crossing: New Horizons residents placed throughout the aquarium and press your stamps.
Stamp stands are set up in 14 locations in total.
If you successfully collect all 14 variations of stamps and reach the goal, you will receive an special goal commemoration sticker.
Furthermore, the stamp rally book includes a map of the aquarium and a checklist of the fish and sea creatures on display, so it can also be used as a guidebook.

The selling price of the stamp rally book is 300 yen (tax included).
Fishing & C.J.'s Fishing Tourney Held
At Fisherman's Oasis within the natural sea aquarium Umi Farm, you can experience Fishing where you can catch horse mackerel and more.
After catching a horse mackerel, there is a photo spot where you can take a commemorative photo in the style of a game scene, so take a photo and show it off!
Also, the fish you catch can be eaten, and they will be prepared as fried or grilled at Umi Farm Kitchen.
Fried fish will be served in a cup with an special design, so why not experience the true pleasure of fishing?

Additionally, C.J.'s Fishing Tourney, where you compete to see how many fish you can catch in 3 minutes, will be held twice a day.
Participants will receive an special sticker featuring C.J., and the winner of the tourney will receive a specially designed special sticker, so participate and get your stickers.
The capacity is 50 people per session, and registration can be done via advance reservation on the web.
Touch Real Sea Creatures or Look for Scallops!
At the Sakana Reef within Fureai Lagoon, an area where you can actually interact with live fish and sea creatures will appear.
You can experience the real texture of sea creatures like starfish and sea cucumbers.
Also, the event Pascal's Scallop Hunt (separate fee required) will be held in this area.
Participants will be lent box snorkels to observe the creatures in the water, and those who find scallop shells hidden in the sand will receive an special sticker featuring Pascal.
Dolphin Shows and Animal Performances Will Be Held

As a new project for this time, the Sea Animal Show and Animal Performance held inside the aquarium during the event period will be conducted in an Animal Crossing: New Horizons special version.
Animals including dolphins will perform various acts synchronized with music from the game, so don't miss it.

At the restaurants on the island, Seafood & Grill YAKIYA and Hawaiian Cafe & Restaurant Merengue, the Sea Creature Tasting Experience will be held.

At the light refreshment shop Dolphin on the island, various drinks will be sold in cups featuring the logo of The Roost coffee shop.

Fireworks Show Using Animal Crossing: New Horizons Music Will Be Held
Yokohama Hakkejima Sea Paradise's traditional fireworks show Fireworks Symphonia will be held in a special version using music from Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Please note that the dates and times will be for 2 days on Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28, 2024.

During the event period, if you perform a GPS Check-in with the My Nintendo smartphone app on Hakkejima island, you will receive a limited design sticker at Bay Market Building C 2F, Western Game House.
