The Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association (CESA) announced that the total number of visitors to "Tokyo Game Show 2024" (TGS2024), held at Makuhari Messe from Thursday, September 26 to Sunday, September 29, 2024, reached 274,739 people.
It was also revealed that the schedule for "TGS2025" has been decided!

Held over four days from Thursday, September 26 to Sunday, September 29, 2024, TGS2024 recorded a total attendance of 274,739 people.
This marks the second highest attendance in history, following Tokyo Game Show 2018, which saw 298,690 visitors, reflecting the recent popularity and influence of TGS.
At TGS2024, a record 985 companies and organizations from 44 countries and regions exhibited.

At the venue, new titles for various platforms including home consoles, smart devices, PCs, and VR were unveiled.
A wide range of related products and services reflecting the expansion of the gaming industry were also showcased.
On the event stage, in addition to the "Keynote Speech" and the "Japan Game Awards 2024 Ceremony," programs aimed at fostering game creators were presented as a joint initiative with the Agency for Cultural Affairs, offering a diverse array of content.
Business meetings were also actively held, with the use of the "TGS Business Matching System" leading to a record 3,669 meetings.
Online, all 20 official programs were streamed via TGS official accounts on YouTube, X, Twitch, as well as on Nico Nico and the special Steam venue.
Furthermore, broadcasts were provided to China via DouYu and bilibili, and to Western audiences through IGN, attracting many fans to the virtual venue "Tokyo Game Show Digital World 2024."

"Tokyo Game Show 2025" has been confirmed!

It has been announced that "TGS2025" will be held over four days from Thursday, September 25 to Sunday, September 28, 2025.
The physical venue is scheduled to be Makuhari Messe.
With TGS2024 surpassing the previous year’s attendance numbers for both business days and public days, even greater excitement is expected for TGS2025.
