VIRTUA FIGHTER Open Championship Announced!
The Steam release of Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. on January 28, 2025 - rebuilt from the ground up for competitive play - will host its inaugural global tournament series. Regional qualifiers across North America, Europe, Japan, and Asia (excluding Japan) will culminate in a Grand Finals with a $100,000 (~¥15M) championship prize.

The North American qualifier kicks off at COMBO BREAKER 2025 (May 23-25), with the game also featured at EVO 2025 (August 1-3). Note that EVO Japan 2025 (May 9-11) tournaments won't count toward championship qualification. Full details at the official portal.
