Higuchi: ZETA DIVISION Geekly will be participating in the Street Fighter League again this time, and I really think we're a strong team because all the members were active in the previous league and various tournaments.
Last season, I was on a different team (Saishunkan Sol Kumamoto), so I was able to win quite a bit, but this time, everyone feels like a point-getter, so it feels difficult in reverse.
But I think we'll probably become a strong team if we put in the time.
I've teamed up with Momochi before, but this is my first time with Kakeru and Hikaru, so I hope we can deepen our bond by talking a lot.
The league has a lot of attention this year, so I want to do my best to aim for the championship.

Momochi: This time, it's about Shinobism Gaming's business succession, so I have a special feeling about it.
Also, from an outsider's perspective, the ZETA DIVISION Geekly team will probably be expected to win above all else.
I think fans also have an image that ZETA is a strong team.
Both original fighting game fans and fans who like ZETA DIVISION itself will probably watch, and I met some fans directly yesterday who told me, "I'm expecting your victory."
I re-realized that there are many fans who support us with such passion.
We're participating with the top four point earners from last season, so both the fans and we believe that nothing but winning is an option, so we want to play with that strong feeling.

Kakeru: I've basically been working on strategy by myself until now, but this time I'll be able to practice with Momochi, who has been active for a long time, and Hikaru and Higuchi, who have unique perspectives, so I'm really looking forward to how I can grow.
Of course, results are important, but if we can have deeper team practice, I think the results will naturally follow, so I hope we can show that in the Street Fighter League.

Hikaru: Last year, I played as a mercenary from Hiroshima TEAM iXA, but this year I'm affiliated with ZETA DIVISION Geekly, so I want to work together with everyone to win the championship.

― With the rule changes from last season, "SFL: Pro-JP 2025" seems to be a tournament where the overall strength of four players will be questioned.

Momochi: Our team has high overall strength, and all four members can be the captain.
I think the opponent will tremble no matter who goes to the reserve, so I think the rule change is a tailwind for us.
Also, the rules changed from first-to-one to first-to-two, and I think that's also a regulation where we can firmly show what we've practiced.
I think these four will practice together, devise strategies well, and be able to cooperate closely, including with the reserve.

― Please tell us about ZETA DIVISION Geekly's strengths and the charms you want fans to pay attention to.

Momochi: As I mentioned earlier, the fact that all four players can be the captain is the number one thing.
Also, the practice environment is good, so we can all gather at the office to practice, and since Yamaguchi is joining as a support member, I think being able to work with five people in total is also a strength.
When everyone is strong, I think we might be seen as a team of individuals, but I want fans to see us as a team that has individual strength but also a sense of unity, where five people gather and fight with overall strength.

― You're in Division F. What's your impression of it?

Higuchi: I think the presence of REJECT makes it very attention-grabbing.
The members are all legendary players like Umehara, Fuudo, Tokido, and LeShar, so I think they will be our biggest rivals.
Last season, I teamed up with Umehara and Fuudo, so I have a feeling I don't want to lose to them in that sense.
We have to win against every team, so of course we'll do our best against all teams, not just REJECT.
Also, Adelie from Hiroshima TEAM iXA is participating for the first time, and Takagi is also there in a different division, with many young players participating.
I'm gradually no longer the youngest, so in that sense, I want to make sure I don't lose to the younger players.

Momochi: It's REJECT, after all.
I think they're one of the championship contenders, so I don't think we can win unless we beat REJECT.
Also, personally, I'm paying attention to FUKUSHIMA IBUSHIGIN.
I've been with Johnny for a long time, so even though he's a rival, I want him to do well, and if we actually face each other, I hope we can fight with all our might and have a good match.

Kakeru

Kakeru: I'm most wary of REJECT, of course.
I'm really happy and excited that our members can fight against those members.
Also, I'm curious about how VARREL, who we didn't fight last year, and Hiroshima TEAM iXA will come into play.
FUKUSHIMA IBUSHIGIN and DetonatioN FocusMe also have changed members, so I can't really predict what will happen, and I'm looking forward to the opening now.

Hikaru: Of course, I'm wary of REJECT.
Last season I was with Hiroshima TEAM iXA, so I'm looking forward to that match and I want to win.
I used to be the youngest, but this year Adelie is the youngest player, so in that sense, I also feel like I can't lose, I don't want to lose.
