Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. announced the conclusion of a partnership agreement with the 2026 Asian Games (hereinafter Aichi–Nagoya 2026), which will be held in Aichi Prefecture starting Saturday, September 19, 2026.
In addition, Nobi (@daichinobi) has been selected as the Japanese representative candidate for Tekken 8 at the event.

Bandai Namco Entertainment has entered into a partnership agreement for Aichi–Nagoya 2026, the largest sports festival in Asia, to contribute to the development of the esports market in Japan, Asia, and the rest of the world.
For Aichi–Nagoya 2026, the 3D fighting game Tekken 8, developed by the company, was selected as a title for the Fighting Game Team Battle event in the medal sport of esports.

Furthermore, Nobi (@daichinobi) of TeamYAMASA has been selected as the Japanese representative candidate for Tekken 8 in this tournament.
