From Support to Partners
Qudo, Daiko
Daiko Kyushu has supported the promotion and sales aspects of Sengoku Gaming since its establishment, utilizing two perspectives: its unique expertise in the field of direct marketing, cultivated in the early days of mail-order sales, and brand marketing for product and corporate brand development.
With this business alliance, we have moved from supporting the company to becoming a partner to work together on the team's growth strategy. Under the team slogan " From Kyushu to the World," the team is active in seven divisions, including "Valorant" and "League of Legends." The team aims to strengthen Sengoku Gaming's marketing and promotion, provide solutions to corporate and regional issues through e-sports, and create new business opportunities through e-sports. The company will also be working to create a new business using e-sports.
Comment from Mr. Keisuke Qudo, President and Representative Director, Daiko Kyushu Co.
When I first heard about e-sports from Mr. Sengoku, the words that resonated most with me were "e-sports is a sport that allows fair competition regardless of age, sex, or physical disadvantage. By having various people and companies experience the potential of e-sports, even if only a little, I hope that they will learn about its potential and support it in a positive way. Recently, professional gamers are ranked as a career that children want to become, which is very different from the impression our generation has of video games. It has become a profession, a goal for young people, and it is generating economic benefits. Our goal is to establish this promising sports business category in Kyushu together with Sengoku-san, and we hope to serve as a role model. I would very much like to work together with them.

In managing an e-sports team, we tend to be biased toward the players' side, i.e., how to make the team stronger. On the other hand, the reality is that we have yet to get closer to the audience of e-sports and the fans of Sengoku Gaming. As a team, we feel that we still lack the know-how on what and how to communicate with the fans in order to capture their hearts and minds. Through this partnership with Daiko Kyushu, we hope to receive support in areas where we are lacking, and aim to make Sengoku Gaming the closest team in Japan to the fans and the team that the fans enjoy.
