There probably isn't a single gamer who doesn't know the name.

Is Discord transforming for Halloween?!
Those of you who use Discord regularly may have already noticed.
Since early Friday, October 25, 2024, JST, Discord's notification sounds have been updated with a Halloween sound pack.
This feature has been implemented only for the PC and browser versions at the time of writing.
Be sure to check your settings by going to "User Settings (gear icon) > Notifications > EVENT SOUND PACK" and preview them!
*According to Discord's official statement: "This event was sadly too eerie for iOS and Android at this time."

Send a Nitro Gift to get Halloween Decorations!
DiscordDiscord's Nitro Gift campaign is being held until Monday, November 4, 2024, JST!
During the campaign period, if you send a Nitro gift to a friend on Discord, a ghost avatar decoration will be delivered to your account.
Sending a Nitro gift is easy.
All you have to do is click on "Direct Messages > Nitro > Gift Nitro" and select a plan and payment method!
After sending the gift to a friend, click "Claim Reward" to get your Halloween decoration.
Please note that this campaign is only for Nitro, and the lower-priced version, Nitro Basic, is not eligible.
About Nitro and Nitro Basic

A Nitro User's Perspective
I actively use Discord for text and voice chats with friends, as well as for work-related communication, making it an indispensable tool in my daily life.
My favorite Nitro benefits are the ability to customize my profile, improved screen-sharing quality, discounts in the shop, the increased file size limit for uploads, using original emojis, being able to join up to 200 servers, and sending long messages.
I also enjoy avatar decorations, and I recently used a "SpongeBob" theme on a server with my friends. The newly announced "Spooky Night" shop collection would make playing horror games even more exciting!
