Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. announced that Ichiro will appear as a special guest in the finals of the "HUGAN WBSC ePremier12 2024" (hereinafter referred to as ePremier12), a baseball esports world championship organized by the World Baseball Softball Confederation (hereinafter referred to as WBSC).
Additionally, a broadcast will be held to deliver the super round and final match.
Ichiro to Appear in the "ePremier12" Finals!
HUGAN WBSC ePremier12 2024 Official WebsiteThe ePremier12 is an esports world championship organized by the WBSC, with Konami's official WBSC baseball game "WBSC eBASEBALL Powerful Pro Baseball" as the competition title.
It will be held simultaneously with the "World Baseball WBSC Premier12" taking place at Tokyo Dome from Thursday, November 21, 2024, and the ePremier12 finals on Saturday, November 23, 2024, will also be held at Tokyo Dome, the same venue as the "World Baseball WBSC Premier12."
To commemorate the first ePremier12, it has been announced that Ichiro, a legend in the Japanese and American baseball worlds, will appear as a special guest!
Ichiro will appear at the opening ceremony and award ceremony to honor the players who competed for the title of the first ePremier12 champion.
Furthermore, on Wednesday, November 21, 2024, at the esports Ginza studio, the super round will kick off with four formidable players who have advanced through the qualifiers around the world:

The matches will be a round-robin, and the top two players will advance to the finals on Saturday, November 23, 2024.
