Bushiroad Inc. has announced that the release date for their upcoming 2D fighting game, HUNTER×HUNTER NEN×IMPACT, which was originally planned for 2024, has been moved to 2025.

The release date for the in-development 2D fighting game "HUNTER×HUNTER NEN×IMPAC," originally scheduled for 2024, has been officially announced to be pushed to 2025.
The reason for the delay is to implement "rollback netcode," a system designed to minimize the perceived lag during online matches before launch.
Due to the nature of fighting games, any issues affecting some players during online matches could prevent many users from fully enjoying the game, leading to the decision to postpone the release.

"HUNTER×HUNTER NEN×IMPAC" was also playable at TGS2024, and while the delay is disappointing for fans eagerly awaiting the release, this decision is made with the players in mind, ensuring a better experience when the game launches.
