SNK Co., Ltd. released an update for the popular 3-on-3 team battle game " KOF XV " on Thursday, July 2, 2026.
Balance adjustments were applied to all 61 characters, including core characters such as Kyo Kusanagi, K', Ash Crimson, and Shun'ei, as well as Rock Howard, Terry Bogard, Mature, and Vice.
These adjustments provide an excellent opportunity to try out characters you haven’t used before.

System and general specification changes. Adjustments to jump knockback attacks and blocking functionality

Furthermore, balance adjustments were made to jump knockback attacksand Advance Strikes.
While the combo multiplier for jump knockback attacks was increased, the combo multiplier for Advance Strikes was reduced.

In addition, several system-related adjustments have been implemented.
When using the block function, players who are blocking will no longer be matched in Ranked and Casual matches.
Please note that Room Matches and Online Training are not affected.

Furthermore, the connection speed search filter has been improved for Ranked and Casual matches.
This makes matching with opponents who meet your specified conditions much smoother.
