"KONAMI eSports Academy" Introduces Three-Year Program
PR TIMESKONAMI eSports Academy" was established in March 2023 by Konami Digital Entertainment Co. The school has developed a one-year short-term study course as a curriculum for those who wish to become professional e-sports players. KONAMI eSports Academy" has announced that it will change its business to a three-year course as a support school for Daiichi Gakuin High School from the 2025 academic year. The aim of the school is to develop human resources who can handle a wide range of fields, not limited to the e-sports industry, by spending more time honing their skills through classroom lectures and actual competitions.
Student recruitment for the 2025 school year begins in June.
KONAMI e-Sports Academy will offer the "Daiichi Gakuin High School e-Sports Course" from the students who will enter the school in the 2025 academic year. The base of learning will be a facility at KONAMI's headquarters. The practical training room is equipped with 40 high-spec gaming PCs, gaming monitors, and gaming chairs, as well as a high-speed Internet connection! The lecture rooms for classroom lectures are bright and open, allowing students to relax and learn.

Joint Tryout
Once a year, a "joint tryout" is held in which professional e-sports teams evaluate students' abilities and enthusiasm. Successful applicants are placed on a professional team as trainees for a certain period of time to experience a special program. The knowledge and experience gained from the professional e-sports players will surely be useful for your future career after graduation!
PR TIMESKONAMI eSports Academy" is holding open schools one after another. Free trial lessons will be provided by instructors from professional e-sports teams, so if you are interested in e-sports, please come to the open school at the KONAMI headquarters building and experience it for yourself.
