Capcom Co., Ltd. announced the postponement of the "Monster Hunter Showcase," which was scheduled to be broadcast starting at 2 PM PST, 5 PM EST on December 8, 2025.
This decision was made in light of the earthquake that occurred off the coast of Aomori Prefecture and the subsequent Tsunami Advisory that was issued.

The earthquake that occurred off the eastern coast of Aomori Prefecture around 11:15 PM (6:15 AM PST, 9:15 AM EST) on Monday, December 8, 2025, registered a magnitude of 7.6 and a maximum seismic intensity of 6-Strong.
Tsunamis were also observed along the coast, and evacuation orders remain in place for parts of Aomori and Iwate Prefectures as of Tuesday morning, the 9th.
Aftershocks have continued into the predawn hours, and the situation remains unpredictable.
In view of these circumstances, the broadcast of the "Monster Hunter Showcase," which Capcom Co., Ltd. had scheduled to begin at 2 PM PST, 5 PM EST on December 8, 2025, has been postponed.

The "Monster Hunter Showcase" was originally planning to announce details on "Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection," which is set for release on Friday, March 13, 2026, as well as the fourth free title update for "Monster Hunter Wilds," which is scheduled to be distributed on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.
