The results for the 40th "Famicom National Poll," "What Is a Game with a Great Story?" have been announced, and the top 20 rankings are now public on the Famicom 40th Anniversary Campaign Site!
As it is for "games with a great story," many of the ranked titles are those with high story elements, such as RPGs, simulations, and adventures.
I'm sure everyone has titles with stories that remain in their hearts, but among them, the one that won first place was Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation with 22% of the votes! The author also voted for this!
I will keep the details vague, but as expected, this and that from the latter half of the game truly made me shiver.
And second place also came from the Dragon Quest series with Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen at 13.3% of the votes! It’s a one-two finish for Dragon Quest!
