The Pokémon Company announced via its official X account (@Pokemon_cojp) that it will donate a total of 100 million yen (approx. 623,000 USD) to Kumamoto Prefecture and the Japanese Red Cross Society. This donation will support relief efforts for victims of the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake, which struck on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, as well as the restoration and recovery of affected areas. The company stated, "We sincerely pray for the earliest possible restoration and recovery of the affected areas."
