Tencent Games at GDC 2023!
Tencent Games has announced its participation at GDC 2023, which will take place from Monday, March 20 to Friday, March 24, 2023. Originally held in 1987 as a private gathering of game developers, including game designer Chris Crawford, GDC has grown over the years to become an event where numerous companies now exhibit. GDC 2023 will be held for four days in 2023, and Tencent Games plans to host 18 sessions, the largest number ever, as well as a booth exhibit.
The sessions will cover a wide range of topics, including machine learning, large-scale cinematic rendering, next-generation mobile game development techniques, audio techniques, and efficiency-enhancing tools for pipeline management. Tencent Games has announced that it will be presenting the following game titles and game development tools.
- "Honor of Kings".
- "Return to Empire" (TiMi Studio Group)
- "START Cloud Game".
- "Arena Breakout"(Morefun Studio)
- "Dune:Awakening" (Funcom)
- "CloudFlow Pipeline" (CloudFlow Pipeline)
- "CROS Game Engine" (Tencent Games Common R&D and Operation System (CROS))
At the Tencent Games booth, visitors will be able to experience "Digital Great Wall," a cloud-based game about the Great Wall of China that uses the CROS Game Engine, which was developed as part of a cultural heritage preservation project. Visitors can also experience "Digital Great Wall," a cloud-based game about the Great Wall of China using the CROS game engine developed by Tencent Games as part of the project, "Game AIR," an AI development platform for games based on machine learning, "Artigician," a smart tool for art creation, and "Anti-Cheat," an anti-cheat product developed by CROS, a division of Tencent Games.
