ZTE has announced the release of the mid-range gaming smartphone nubia Neo 5 GT for the Japanese market.
It will be available for purchase starting Thursday, April 23, 2026.

Mid-Range Gaming Smartphone nubia Neo 5 GT Released!
The nubia Neo 5 GT is a mid-range gaming smartphone developed with the concept of high performance at an accessible price.
It is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor and 8GB of memory.
The display is a 6.8-inch OLED and supports a refresh rate of up to 144Hz.
Built-in Cooling Fan
The device features a built-in 23,000RPM High-Speed Turbo Fan.
By combining a large 4,475mm2 liquid-cooled VC with a through-flow structure, heat is efficiently dissipated.
This suppresses FPS drops and stuttering even during long gaming sessions.
Shoulder Triggers Equipped
Shoulder triggers are mounted on the side of the body.
They react quickly to finger movements, allowing for a controller-like feel during gameplay.
Additionally, Magic Touch 3.0 technology supports an instantaneous touch sampling rate of up to 2,000Hz.
AI Game Partner Demi 2.0
The AI tactical assist Demi 2.0 provides tactical advice in real-time.
The Game Space automatically optimizes notifications, performance, and control settings, while an AI chatbot answers questions during games.
Because Demi Auto-Chat reads in-game notifications and automatically sends replies, your concentration on the game is not interrupted.
Supports 55W Fast Charging
The phone is equipped with a 6,210mAh large capacity battery.
It supports fast charging at up to 55W and features a bypass charging (charge separation) function that can suppress heat generation even while charging.
Furthermore, a 90-degree L-shaped cable is included, making it possible to play games comfortably even while charging.
The price of the nubia Neo 5 GT is 52,800 Yen (Including Tax).
To commemorate the release, a campaign is being held where the first 475 people to purchase this product will receive the dedicated accessory nubia Gamepad 2.
The campaign period is from Thursday, April 23, 2026 to Sunday, May 10, 2026.
