GamerCoach Inc., headquartered in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka, Japan, announced the addition of coaching titles to its game coaching platform, GamerCoach.
What is "GamerCoach"?
GamerCoach is a platform that supports players who want to improve their game and coaches who want to teach them.
Through "GamerCoach", players can find a suitable coach for each game title, and coaches can earn money by coaching players in their games.
Currently, more than 300 coaches have registered and more than 1,500 hours of coaching have been conducted in the first 11 months of service.
Additional Coaching Titles
The two titles announced for paid coaching are "Rainbow Six Siege" and "Dota Auto Chess".
Rainbow Six Siege
Rainbow Six Siege is a popular FPS title.
It is popular all over the world, and professional league tournaments are held, making it a major e-sports title.
As previously mentioned on Saiga NAK, the "Pro League Season 10 Final" will be held in Japan in November of this year, and has been gaining attention in Japan as well.
Dota Auto Chess
Dota Auto Chess is a mod that can be played within Valve's MOBA game Dota2.
Dota2 was already a coaching title in GamerCoach, but due to the popularity of "Dota Auto Chess", its high strategic value, and the coaching culture it promotes, it was added to the coaching titles.
Aiming to establish a coaching culture in Japan
In sports such as baseball and soccer, it is common practice for players to improve through coaching, but in the world of e-sports, coaching has yet to take root.
The addition of the "GamerCoach" coaching title is great news for both players and coaches in order to improve the level of e-sports players in Japan.
