First, let's check the outer box of the fully automated robot vacuum DreameBot X30 Ultra that arrived.

With words like “automatic” and “optimal care” written there, I have a feeling it might become a savior for housework!

The robot vacuum main unit looks like this.
Designed with gold lettering on matte black, it has a high-end feel and looks cool!
When you open the base cover of the base station, there is a used water tank on the left and a clean water tank on the right.
Since it has handles, removal is also a breeze.
When you remove the dust tank cover located near the middle of the base station, there is a dust bag for storing collected debris and a tank for adding detergent.

Add the included detergent and pour water into the clean water tank.
Make sure to use the special floor detergent (AWH7) when adding detergent.

It feels like it snaps firmly into place, so installation is easy.
The power plug is on the back of the base station, so plug in the included cord.

It’s not stiff when snapping it in, so it can be installed easily.
With the main unit's power on, attach the mop, and once the announcement "The mop has been attached" plays, the installation is complete.
Dreamehome
You can also operate the DreameBot X30 Ultra remotely by installing and syncing the dedicated app (App Store/Google Play).
Enter the password for the Wi-Fi you are connecting to, and if you hear "Connected to Wi-Fi," you are all set.
This is what it looks like when the robot vacuum unit is set in the base station.
The size is approximately 300mm x 410mm x 600mm.
Combined with its presence and the color of the unit, it looks stylish and cool.
I Tried Starting It Up Right Away
Now that the setup is mostly finished, I would like to start it up.
It starts up at the same time as charging begins by either pressing the center power button on the robot vacuum unit for 3 seconds or more, or by setting it in the base station.
A melody plays when the power turns on successfully.
The remaining battery and status of the unit were also displayed in Dreamehome installed on the smartphone.
Depending on usage conditions, the DreameBot X30 Ultra supports continuous operation for up to 180 minutes.
Since the unit charges automatically when it is at the base station, there seems to be no worry about the battery running out in the middle of cleaning.
In cleaning mode, you can choose from CleanGenius, which allows for easy cleaning, and Customized Cleaning, where you can select the cleaning method according to your preference.
In Customized Cleaning, you can select from five types of cleaning modes.

When you start cleaning, it begins with the voice prompt, "Starting cleaning."
This time, I selected water mopping after vacuuming.
To perform suction, it automatically removes the mop.
First, it attacks from the wall side.
It doesn't miss the debris in every corner.
Of course, debris scattered on the floor is no problem for the DreameBot X30 Ultra.
There is no debris after it passes by.
The DreameBot X30 Ultra boasts industry-leading 8,300Pa suction power.
It doesn't miss dust, of course, nor does it miss screws or tiny dust and hair on flooring and carpets.
Furthermore, with Dreame's unique Hair Cutting Brush, the roller brush automatically cuts hair during cleaning.
It even automatically resolves issues like hair getting tangled in the brush. Wonderful!
The DreameBot X30 Ultra is equipped with an industry-first LED.
Even in dark places, it senses and avoids obstacles while illuminating them with the light.
When debris accumulates during cleaning or when cleaning reaches a break point, it automatically returns to the base station to collect the debris.
After that, it attaches the mop that was removed earlier and water mopping starts.
It cleans thoroughly with water mopping from the edges of the room to everywhere else.
Regarding carpets that you don't want to get wet, it's safe because it automatically recognizes them and either lifts the mop or removes it to clean.
After cleaning is finished, it automatically returns to the base station, mop washing is performed, and the voice "Cleaning is complete" plays.
After that, it proceeds to automatic mop drying.
