Numerous "Animal Crossing: New Horizons" events are being held in Hokkaido! These include stamp rallies and pop-up events, among others.

Nintendo has announced that it will hold events themed around *Animal Crossing: New Horizons* set in Hokkaido.
Three events will be held that visitors can enjoy while traveling from New Chitose Airport to downtown Sapporo.

A collaboration stamp rally with JR Hokkaido, a pop-up event at New Chitose Airport, and a limited-time Nintendo POP-UP STORE in Sapporo will be held.

"Animal Crossing: New Horizons" × JR Hokkaido: Clackety-Clack Train Stamp Rally

"あつまれ Animal Crossing"× JR北海道列車でガタゴトスタンプラリー

This event involves visiting 13 stations in the Central Hokkaido area, centered around Sapporo Station, to collect stamps featuring the residents of each station.
Panels and posters featuring different residents will be displayed at each participating station.

Stations with Stamps: Sapporo Station, Naebo Station, Shiroishi Station, Shinrin-koen Station, Nopporo Station, Kuwabara Station, Shin-Kotoni Station, Eniwa Station, New Chitose Airport Station, Tomakomai Station, Otaru-Chikko Station, Teine Station, Hassamu Station
Event Period: Friday, July 17, 2026 – Monday, October 12, 2026 (Public Holiday)

Depending on the number of stamps you collect, you can enter a raffle to win original merchandise.
Information on the prizes is scheduled to be released around mid-July 2026.

Trains featuring the "Animal Crossing: Gather 'Round" design will also be in service

During the stamp rally period, one train set of the “Rapid Airport ” service running between New Chitose Airport and Sapporo will feature a “Gather 'Round Animal Crossing” design.
Please note that the operating dates and times will not be announced in advance.

"Gather 'Round Hokkaido Airpo Island" Pop-Up Event at New Chitose Airport

A pop-up shop will be set up at New Chitose Airport, selling original merchandise themed around the airport.
The venue will feature “Dodo Airlines” and photo spots that make you feel like you’ve visited the island.

In addition to New Chitose Airport-exclusive merchandise, “Animal Crossing”-related products sold at Nintendo TOKYO/OSAKA/KYOTO/FUKUOKA will also be available.
A “target practice ” event using pachinko will also be held; if you hit the target, you’ll receive original merchandise.

At the special venue on the 1st floor of Daimaru Sapporo, you’ll find “Dodo Airlines” airplane balloons and characters from the series.
The 7th-floor event hall will feature decorations inspired by Mamekichi & Tsubukichi’s “Tanuki Store” and the Kappei family’s “Resort Hotel,” as well as a capsule toy corner modeled after the trees in the game.

A campaign is also underway at select game retailers in Hokkaido: if you purchase a Nintendo Switch 2 console or "Animal Crossing" related products totaling 3,300 yen (tax included) or more, you’ll receive an acrylic keychain.
The campaign runs from Friday, July 17, 2026, through Monday, October 12, 2026 (a national holiday).
