Riptide 2024 was a large-scale offline Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament held in Sandusky, Ohio, USA.
Among 1024 participants, Shuton (@syu_tolimar) had an impressive run through the winners' bracket, reaching the semifinals and ultimately advancing to the Top 3.
The Losers' Finals
Shuton was narrowly defeated by the formidable international favorite, Sparg0, and moved to the losers' bracket finals.
Another strong competitor, Sonix, awaited him there.
In a best-of-five match, Shuton and Sonix traded wins in a thrilling contest.
The match came down to the final game, but Shuton emerged victorious, securing a spot in the Grand Finals!
