" Tokyo Game Show 2026 " was held for four days starting Thursday, September 17, 2026.
With the release of the latest entry in the Layton series, *Professor Layton and the New World of Steam *, scheduled for later this year, the Level-5 booth featured playable demos of four new titles and photo spots.

The Level-5 booth at TGS 2026 showcased four upcoming titles!
Each title had its own demo station and photo spot.

First, let’s head over to the photo spot areas for these four titles.
Starting with the familiar Professor Layton and Luke, characters from each title were lined up with adorable expressions!
The background sets were also intricately designed, allowing you to really immerse yourself in the game’s world.
Next, we headed to the demo area.
In the “Professor Layton and the New World of Steam” area — whose release date has finally been set for Thursday, December 10, 2026—many people were taking on the puzzles.
The walls within the area were adorned with architectural details.
They depicted the steampunk world of the latest installment, powered by steam and gears.
The “Decapolis” demo area is brimming with a near-future vibe.
Visitors enjoyed both puzzle-solving and battle elements as they worked to solve incidents occurring in the virtual world.
" Holy Horror Mansion " is a game where you befriend "mononoke"—spirits that appear when you take photos of objects—and go on adventures with them.
The Round Table demo booth was shaded by a parasol, which really conveyed the game’s cheerful atmosphere.
The final title was " Snack World RELOADED "
It is a remake of the action RPG "Snack World: Treasure Hunters."
At the demo booth, players were enjoying exhilarating action with the significantly upgraded graphics!
Finally, when I stepped outside the Level-5 booth, I saw staff members handing out freebies.
Inside the bag I received was something wrapped in silver paper.
When I opened the case, I found a large number of postcards featuring Level-5 titles!
There were even illustrations from their flagship series, “Yo-kai Watch.”
It really sparked my collector’s instinct, and I wanted to line up the cards from my favorite titles and display them.
The Level-5 booth was packed with the charm of four different titles.
