Saiga NAK― The finals were the same matchup as EVO Japan 2025. Were you conscious of that?
Kasausagi: Of course, I was conscious of it.
After all, getting revenged on is scary.
However, I also had the feeling that I wanted to secure a solid victory here.
Since others, including Zangief_Dream (@Thukikage_), are also very strong, I was playing comfortably with the mindset that it wouldn't be surprising if I lost at any moment.
Saiga NAK― Zangief_Dream switched characters to Vikala.
Kasausagi: I was very surprised.
It was my first time fighting Zangief_Dream's Vikala, and I was like, "Are you kidding me?"
I hadn't done any specific preparation for it, but honestly, I thought I was lucky.
Zangief_Dream's Cagliostro is incredibly strong, but I was wondering, "Can he use Vikala even better than that?"
― Last year, you said "nothing in particular," but what is your next goal for this year?
Kasausagi: Winning this tournament earned me a spot in the Cygames CUP, so I hope I can achieve a good result there.
