Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “KONAMI”) and the World Baseball Softball Confederation (hereinafter “WBSC”) have announced the continuation of their partnership, which began in 2018.
They plan to jointly host a new global tournament, the “WBSC eBaseball Series 2026,” featuring “eBaseball: PRO SPIRIT ” as the official game, in July 2026.

KONAMI and the WBSC have announced the continuation of their partnership, which began in 2018 with the aim of further promoting and developing baseball culture.
As part of this initiative, they will jointly host a new global tournament, the “WBSC eBaseball Series 2026,” in July 2026, with “eBaseball: PRO SPIRIT” serving as the official competition title.

"eBaseball: PRO SPIRIT," which has been adopted as the official competition title, has expanded its distribution reach to over 200 countries and regions—more than three times that of the previous "WBSC eBaseball: Powerful Pro Baseball."
With the game being free-to-play, the environment now allows even more global players to participate, which is expected to further accelerate the spread of baseball culture on a global scale.

Furthermore, to promote community engagement, the WBSC is providing a system that allows tournament organizers of all sizes to host WBSC-sanctioned tournaments.
The organization is also taking steps to promote existing and new tournaments held around the world to a global audience.
