Year-End and New Year Event, "A Happy Hunting New Year," Confirmed!
With the next series entry, Monster Hunter Wilds, scheduled for release in 2025, many of you are likely wondering, "So, what should I play in 2024?"
For hunters asking that very question, the latest Monster Hunter series title, Monster Hunter Now, is a strong contender.
The smartphone location-based game, Monster Hunter Now, has announced the event, A Happy Hunting New Year, running from Saturday, December 23, 2023, to Monday, January 8, 2024.
A variety of features are planned, including the return of subspecies monsters and an increase in monster spawn frequency.
Pink Rathian and Black Diablos Return!
Pink Rathian and Black Diablos, which previously appeared for a limited time, are making a comeback!
They will appear at an increased rate during the following periods:
- Pink Rathian (forest habitats): Saturday, December 23, 2023, at 9:00 AM to Monday, January 1, 2024, at 12:00 AM
- Black Diablos (desert habitats): Monday, January 1, 2024, at 9:00 AM to Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at 12:00 AM
If you couldn't craft their gear during their last appearance or if you're a newcomer, make sure to get your hunting preparations in order before the event!
Zinogre Spawn Rate Increased!
Zinogre was introduced as a Hunt-a-thon exclusive monster in Monster Hunter Now's first major update, "Fulminations in the Frost."
Although many hunters struggle with its high difficulty, from Saturday, December 23, 2023, at 9:00 AM to Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at 12:00 AM, the probability of Zinogre appearing as the 5th monster in Hunt-a-thons will increase!
If you feel like you're not strong enough yet, now is the time to craft ice-specialized gear and get ready for the event!
Monster Spawn Frequency and Density Increased!
Every day from Saturday, December 23, 2023, to Tuesday, January 9, 2024, between 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM, monster spawn frequency and density will increase across all areas!
This is a welcome feature for all hunters, so make walking from early afternoon until evening part of your daily routine!
