Hotta Studio announced the new surreal urban open-world RPG "Neverness to Everness" on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

"Neverness to Everness" is set in the metropolis "Hethereau," where Anomalies and humans coexist.
The player takes on the role of the first unlicensed Anomaly Hunter, an appraiser at the antique shop "Eibon." Players will navigate this city overflowing with Anomalies, resolving various requests related to Anomalies.
Players can also enjoy a carefree city life by meeting companions and managing a shop.

Anomalies Appear Everywhere in the City

The story is set in the metropolis "Hethereau," where Anomalies and humans coexist.
Anomaly sightings are reported daily—ranging from a skateboard that rampages and spray-paints the streets in the middle of the night to an otter with a TV for a head. Anomaly sightings that defy all common sense can be encountered at any time in this city.
Furthermore, players can meet companions with unique personalities and diverse supernatural abilities, and will solve incidents while enjoying daily life in this surreal city.

A Surreal City Delivered with UE5

The game engine "Unreal Engine 5" was used to create the entire city.
As a result, players can experience life in Hethereau more realistically.
Furthermore, the new feature "Nanite," which allows for a higher polygon count in sculpting, was fully utilized to add fine detail to the city, further enhancing the sense of realism.
Antique shops and convenience stores are meticulously crafted, with rich interiors and furniture that give a genuine sense of life.
When players step out of a shop and look across the entire city, the strange lights scattered across the otherwise familiar cityscape lend the city an anomalous atmosphere.
