Capcom has moved the release date for the sword-fighting action game, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, to Friday, September 4, 2026—three weeks earlier than planned.
The release date change updates the digital version's preorder bonuses to early purchase bonuses. Availability periods are as follows:
- PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Windows, Nintendo Switch 2:
Until September 24 at 11:59 PM local time. - Steam, Epic Games Store: Until September 25 at 4:59 PM PT
While Capcom plans an update for the current demo, it expects no new features due to the date change. Please keep your demo save data to receive bonuses; do not delete the application or save data before launch.
Additionally, Capcom will cancel existing digital preorders for Onimusha: Way of the Sword on Nintendo Switch 2. Please re-order the game and prepare for launch!
