The current " NorinosatoyamaAirport " will be reopened as the world's first airport named after a Pokemon, " Norinosatoyama Pokemon with You Airport "! The reopening will take place for a limited time from July 7, 2026 (Tuesday) to the end of September 2029.

Ishikawa Prefecture and the Pokémon with You Foundation have been working together to bring smiles to the faces of those affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake. As part of these efforts, "Noto Airport" will reopen on July 7, 2026 (Tuesday) as " Noto Satoyama Pokemon with You Airport," the first airport to be named after a Pokemon!

The airport's original logo is a bright and festive design that expresses the desire to deliver energy. It incorporates the monster ball and Pikachu motifs, the topography of the Noto Peninsula, and the smiling faces of local and tourist people.

Second floor atrium

In the second-floor atrium, a large Pikachu and airplane balloon symbolizes the airport. Countless Pokémon are floating comfortably in the air around them. The atrium and the rest of the airport grounds will be decorated with all 111 types of "flying type" Pokémon discovered as of May 2026!

1st floor arrival lobby

The 1st floor arrival lobby will be decorated with a large-scale artwork entitled " Akarui Mirai," which was created to support the recovery of Noto in 2024. Pikachu, Prasul, and Mainan, which were drawn in the center of the art, will become three-dimensional monuments.

Short movie "Airport Side Story

Three original short videos are available to view on your smartphone at the airport. One of them, " Tobe! Tatsubay " tells the story of Tatsubay's yearning for the sky. This video is linked to the Tatsubay monument looking up at the Bomanda in the airport. The other two videos also tell stories that will make your trip to the airport and Noto a little more enjoyable.

The airport's original Pokémon menu will be available at the "Restaurant Annon" on the 3rd floor of the airport! Two types of pancakes and two types of drinks will be available. If you order pancakes and drinks as a set, they will be served with an original luncheon mat.

A Pokemon wrapping bus will be in operation! A trip from the airport to the Noto Peninsula

From mid-July, after the airport opens, two buses from the Hokuriku Railway Group will appear in Ishikawa Prefecture as Pokémon-wrapped buses.

Express bus for Noto area (Wajima - Kanazawa / existing route)

This express bus connects Kanazawa Station, the airport, and Wajima City. Buses wrapped with Pokemon will operate one round trip per day.

Express bus for Noto area (new route)

A round-trip bus connecting the airport to Pokemon sightseeing spots throughout the Noto Peninsula. It is convenient for visiting Pokémon spots that can only be enjoyed in Noto, such as the " Wakura Pokémon Footbath," which opened on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, in Wakura Onsen, Nanao City, and the "Nymphia with LOVE" monument in Suzu City.
