Three titles from the "Resident Evil" remake series are coming to Nintendo Switch 2! Hands-on demos will also be available at TGS 2026.

Capcom Co., Ltd. has announced that it will release three titles —" Resident Evil RE:2 Z Version Deluxe Edition," " Resident Evil RE:3 Z Version," and " Resident Evil RE:4 Gold Edition "— for the Nintendo Switch 2.
In addition, playable demos for these three titles will be available at the Capcom booth during the " Tokyo Game Show 2026 " (hereinafter "TGS2026"), to be held at Makuhari Messe.

Release dates set for the Nintendo Switch 2 versions of the three “Resident Evil” remake titles! Plus, digital versions are 1,000 yen off through Saturday, November 7.

These three titles have been remade using the " RE ENGINE " and incorporating new ideas, while staying true to the essence of the original games.
The release dates are Friday, October 16, 2026, for the digital versions, and Friday, January 29, 2027, for the physical versions.
Note that the digital versions will be available at a special price —1,000 yen off the regular price—for a limited time through Saturday, November 7, 2026.

The lineup and prices for the three titles are as follows.

• Resident Evil RE:2 Z Version Deluxe Edition: Regular Price 3,990 yen (tax included) / Special Price 2,990 yen (tax included)
• Resident Evil RE:3 Z Version: Regular Price 2,990 yen (tax included) / Special Price 1,990 yen (tax included)
• Resident Evil RE:4 Gold Edition: Regular Price 4,990 yen (tax included) / Special Price 3,990 yen (tax included)

With the addition of these three titles and " Resident Evil RE: Veronica," scheduled for release in 2027, all main series titles will be playable on the Nintendo Switch 2.
