"SAMURAI SPIRITS", a sword-fighting fighting game for PlayStation®4 / Xbox One, to be released by SNK Corporation on Thursday, June 27, 2019.
A demo version was released on May 31, 2019, but with only three characters available and a playable time of two hours, many players ended up not getting a solid feel for the Samurai Spirits atmosphere.
For those players, the second trial version is now available!
This time, there is no play time limit until the end of the distribution! This time, you can control 3 new characters! That's our SNK!
The 3 characters you can use this time
In the second demo version, you can use "Genshiro Kabashin", "Ukyo Tachibana", and "Charlotte" from the popular characters of the past.
Genshiro Kabashin, Haomaru's rival and the most popular character in the series, Ukyo Tachibana, a master iai slayer with little time left to live, and Charlotte, a female swordsman of French nobility are available for use!
All three are popular characters, and their operability differs from that of the past series, so it's great to be able to play for an unlimited amount of time!
The previous demo version, in which you could use "Haomaru", "Nakoruru", and "Kurama Yashamaru", ended yesterday, June 20.
Unfortunately, we will have to wait for the full version along with the other characters!
Input Delay Problem
Actually, the demo version of "SAMURAI SPIRITS" has an input delay problem. This is what I felt when I played the demo version....
But don't worry! A patch to improve the input delay (Ver. 1.01/Day 1 patch) will be distributed in time for the release of the full version on June 27!
So you will be able to play the full version with the delay problem fixed!
Unfortunately, the second demo version does not support the patch, but you will be able to play the latest version with the patch at the pre-launch demo events to be held on Saturday, June 22 in 6 cities nationwide!

Details of the pre-launch trial event
A pre-launch trial event will be held on Saturday, June 22 in six cities across Japan, where you can play the latest version of the game that resolves the aforementioned input delay problem!
"Charlotte", as well as "Kurama Yashamaru", "Iro", "Tachibana Ukyo", and "Hattori Hanzo", for a total of 11 characters.
In addition, those who play the game will receive a "SAMURAI SPIRITS Original Postcard" as a free gift!
The distribution of the original postcard will end as soon as they are gone, so if you want to get one, come early!

Only one week to go until the release!
"SAMURAI SPIRITS" will be released next Thursday!
At this time of the year, you can control an additional character, and I have my own character, Genshirou Kabushin...!
I'll be able to play it for as long as I want, so I guess I'll just stay indoors this weekend and enjoy Samurai Spirits!
The PS4 version will only be available today, June 21; the Xbox One version will be announced as soon as it is decided.
