Street Fighter 6" Year 2 addition of the third character, Mai Shiranui, is now in effect! New ranks and rewards added to the Master League!

Capcom's newest title in the " Street Fighter 6 " series, " Mai Shiranui ", will be released on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at 17:00. An update and campaign will also be held in conjunction with the release of the new character.

Mai Shiranui", who was announced as an additional character for Year 2, will be released on February 5, 2025 (Wednesday)! Mai Shiranui will appear in 3 modes: "World Tour", "Battle Hub", and "Fighting Grounds".

In the "World Tour," you can learn Shiranui Ninjutsu and emotes from "Mai Shiranui," who appears as a master in the new "Aokigahara" area. Complete the gifts and missions to deepen your bond with Mai Shiranui!

Fighting Grounds" also adds the story of "Mai Shiranui" to the arcade mode! While enjoying the story, players can control the character to perform Special Moves and Super Arts to enjoy the battle.

Woshige Researcher" appears in V-rival matches!

In the one-player mode "V-rival Match," a "Challenge a special V-rival! event was held in the one-player mode "V-rival Match. This special V-rival will be "Researcher Woshige," a former Shadoken instructor. Use the characters "Luke," "Cammy," and "Gouki" that Riefen has prepared for this event to win the tournament. New ranks and rewards are available in the Master League!

Replay function has been improved!

Replays of previous battles can now be replayed from the end screens of ranked and casual matches. Pause and menu operations are also available between round calls and after KOs during replay playback. The Pause menu items have been reorganized for easier operation.

A local tournament mode has been added!

Turning on "Local Competition Mode" will disable the ability to skip the various stages of the competition, such as entry, battle, and results. You can also adjust settings such as automatic random stage selection and long-pressing the pause menu to open it during battle. Individual items can also be adjusted to suit your play style.

A "custom room battle restore function" has been added!

With this update, we have added a "Custom Room Restore Function" that restores the battle status at the start of the round in which the disconnection occurred and restarts the match. This only applies to one-on-one matches, but don't forget to check your settings!
