ASUS Japan, Inc. announces the ROG Chakram, a Qi-compatible gaming mouse with joystick.

Although the ROG Chakram is a wireless mouse, it can switch between dual wireless 2.4GHz, Bluetooth LE, andwired USB connections with a simple tap.
You can choose your preferred connection method based on the port status of the device you are connecting to, the connection status of the Bluetooth device, and the mouse's battery status.
Ultra-performance finish
The ROG Chakram is equipped with a high-end optical gaming sensor.
The 100 to 16,000 dpi sensor perfectly tracks movement at speeds of up to 400 inches per second (IPS) with acceleration of up to 40g.
It also offers a latency-free response time of 1,000 Hz polling rate for both 2.4 GHz and wired connections.
Programmable Joystick
The ROG Chakram is equipped with a joystick on the left side of the unit.
This eliminates the need for a gamepad when playing games, providing maximum playability with only a mouse and keyboard.
The joystick can be used in "analog mode", which simulates the controlled movement, or in "digital mode", which allows the user to set the action in four directions (up, down, left, right), allowing the user to select the most advantageous mode depending on the game title being played. The joystick function can only be used in 2.4GHz mode and wired mode.
The joystick can also be made in two different lengths, depending on hand size and playing style.

Structure for enhanced playability
The ROG Chakram uses a "pivoting button mechanism" that allows the user to click faster the shorter the distance between controls.
Using springs and metal hinges to balance the keys and minimize the distance between the button and switch allows for quicker returns, ensuring superior speed, responsiveness, and consistency with every click.
"The DPI On-The-Scroll feature allows the user to set the sensitivity without using software by simply holding down the DPI button on the bottom of the unit and turning the wheel.
The illumination changes to show the set DPI range, allowing the user to visually confirm the setting.

The "AURA Riding" feature allows the user to customize the lighting to his or her own preference.
In addition to seven different light patterns, it can be synchronized with Aura Sync compatible devices to create a unified gaming space.
Detailed settings with ARMOURY II software
The "ARMOURY II" software allows for detailed and easy configuration of performance and surface calibration settings, program and map button adjustments, joystick input adjustment, lighting effect customization, and more in an easy-to-use UI. The software is compatible with the "II" software.
