PLAUD, Inc. held a "Plaud New Product Experience Presentation" on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. The latest flagship model of the Plaud series, the " Plaud Note Pro," which has more than 1 million users worldwide, was unveiled for the Japanese market.
"Plaud New Product Experience Presentation" was held.

Mr. Nathan Xu, CEO of PLAUD Inc. and Representative Director of PLAUD, Inc., took the stage at the beginning of the event. He stated that "Conversation is a form of intelligence, from which ideas are born, knowledge is shared, and decisions are made. He said.

However, it is said that humans forget 80-90% of the content of our daily conversations. To compensate for this "lost knowledge," Plaud has combined AI with sensor technology that complements the "ears, eyes, hands, and brain" to provide an environment where knowledge can be accurately recorded, extracted, and utilized.

The world's first AI voice recorder, "Plaud Note," launched in 2023, has been used in a wide range of fields, including meetings, interviews, and medical settings. It was launched in Japan in 2024. Currently, more than 1 million units have been shipped worldwide, and Japan has grown to become the second largest market after the United States, winning numerous awards around the world.

Plaud has indicated that it will continue to focus on the Japanese market, which it says "fits very well with the Japanese culture of politeness and trust."
Plaud Note Pro, the newest flagship model, was unveiled at the event!

Waton Zhang, General Manager of PLAUD, Inc., then took the stage to announce the newest flagship model, the "Plaud Note Pro!" The new Plaud Note Pro has a luxurious dual-zone aluminum design, which provides both a pleasant metallic feel and a lightweight sensation in the hand.

With a thickness of 2.99mm and a weight of 30g, it is as compact as a credit card, a feature of the Plaud Note Pro.

The new 0.96-inch display can show battery level and other information. The brightness of up to 600 nits and Corning Gorilla Glass ensure a clear display even outdoors, and the display is durable.
Four high-performance microphones allow clear audio recording from up to 5 meters away. AI-based directional sound collection technology automatically detects the speaker's voice and records with optimal sound quality while suppressing ambient noise. Clear recordings can be made in environments such as conference rooms and cafes.

Smart Dual Mode automatically detects whether it is a face-to-face conversation or a conference call, and switches recording mode according to the situation. The new "Voice Sympathetic Mode" can record the voices of multiple people, even in a large conference room. The "long-drive mode" supports up to 50 hours of continuous recording, so you can use it all day long without worrying about running out of battery power.

Mr. Naoyuki Suzuki, Sales Director of PLAUD Corporation, introduced the upgraded "Plaud App 3.0.

The "Plaud App 3.0" has further evolved the cloud intelligence that supports everything from recording to summarization and utilization. In addition to the existing voice input, "Image Input" for capturing images of whiteboards, "Text Input" for inputting ideas that come to mind on the app, and "Highlight Recording" for recording important moments with a single touch are newly added. The "Highlight Recording" function allows users to record important moments with a single touch. Multimodal input combining voice, image, and text allows users to record information from various perspectives.

In addition to the conventional one-way summarization, "multidimensional summarization" is now supported, allowing users to summarize information from multiple perspectives. More than 3,000 templates are available for users to choose from according to their own job titles and applications, and a "community feature" is included to allow users to share templates with other users.

The "Ask Plaud" feature, which allows users to ask questions about a summary to get additional information, has also been enhanced to provide specific conclusions and key points, as well as the ability to save responses as notes.

"Plaud Note Pro " is available in silver and black and will be priced at 30,800 yen (tax included). It will be available on October 14, 2025 (Tuesday), and will be sold at Amazon.co.jp, Rakuten Ichiba, and electronics mass retailers, in addition to the official Plaud website.

Saiga NAKThe new Plaud App 3.0 will be released on Thursday, October 9, 2025.

Saiga NAK"Plaud Intelligence" is available in free and paid plans. The free starter plan allows users to transcribe up to 300 minutes/month, and Ask Plaud will be available in the future. The paid Pro plan allows 1,200 minutes/month, and the Unlimited plan allows unlimited transcription.
Ask the CEOs, "Why not just choose Pro? What differentiates you from the competition? "
Saiga NAK- "Plaud Note Pro" is only about 3,000 yen more than "Plaud Note", so many people will probably choose Pro.
"Plaud Note Pro" and "Plaud Note" are different options, and " Pro" will not replace the existing product. The Pro has more advanced hardware specs (long-distance sound collection, screen, auto detection of face-to-face/calls), and users can choose whether they prefer a screen to check battery level and status or the simplicity of no screen. The small price difference is intended to make the product more affordable and speed market penetration. We believe there is value in both products, as the existing Plaud Note remains an excellent product and Plaud Note users can also take advantage of the latest AI features through an updated cloud intelligence platform that is compatible with both models.
Saiga NAK- Six months have passed since the April 2025 media conference, how is the overall business growing and how is the corporate business doing?
The Japanese market continues to grow rapidly, and we expect a fourfold growth in FY2025 compared to last year. We expect to double the growth in 2026 as well. We have positioned Japan as one of our most important markets and are in the process of strengthening our investment in human resources. On the other hand, our plans for the corporate business have been delayed. Our original plan was to build corporate solutions on a completely separate technology platform from consumer solutions, but we have changed the direction of our technology stack in terms of user experience. We are currently developing a new solution, which we aim to release in early 2026. However, this is a new and different solution, and our existing product specifications have already been deployed in thousands of units at major Japanese companies.
Saiga NAK- What are the advantages and differentiators of "Plaud Note" and "Plaud Note Pro" compared to other notebook AI voice recorders?
Plaud was the first to introduce an AI voice recorder on the market. The latest "Plaud Note Pro" offers an adaptive recording feature where the device uses an algorithm to automatically detect the recording source (whether the voice is coming from space or from the vibration of the phone) and record in the most appropriate mode, without the need for the user to manually switch recording modes. This is achieved by using an adaptive recording function that automatically detects the recording source (whether it is audio from the space or audio coming from a smartphone vibration) and records in the optimal mode. We are confident that we are significantly ahead of the technology curve, as our competitors are finally beginning to introduce manual switching functions.
