The commentary was provided by Nobuteru Taniguchi (@NOB_TANIGUCHI ) and Kenta Nishizawa (@NiShiKeNgame ), both well-known commentators. Mr. Taniguchi said, "I want to pay attention to the battle for prize money in the offline arena.
This will be the fourth JEGT. This year marks 50 years since Autobacs first hung its shingle on the market. We have been running Super GT for 26 years as a real race to encourage as many customers as possible to become car enthusiasts, and we have had a total of 10 million visitors from the grandparents' generation to the grandchildren's generation. In e-motorsports, both grandfathers and grandchildren can enjoy racing together. I would like to continue to support mobility-related events in the future. I hope that today's race will be as cheerful, energetic, and fun as possible, as a sign of the recovery efforts. I wish you all the best!
The start of the race, where each team has a different strategy
The stage for the final round is the "Monza Circuit" in Italy. The Super Lap, which determines the grid (starting position) for the race, has resulted in the ZIMA RACERS taking pole position.
In the round final, each team's strategy was evident in their tire selection at the start of the race. ZIMA RACERS, who took pole position, was ready to block the following teams while using hard tires to conserve energy. On the other hand, EVANGELION e-RACING x WAYNE'S TOYOTA KANAGAWA, which started the race from the bottom of the Super Lap due to an unexpected mistake, tried to recover from the beginning with soft tires.
A fierce battle unfolded from the opening lap, but EVANGELION e-RACING x WAYNE'S TOYOTA KANAGAWA, starting from the very back of the grid on soft tires, was already in the lead by lap 5. Yamanaka's excellent drive made up for his mistake in the Super Lap!
Driver change is another highlight!
In this round final, each driver is required to drive 6 laps and use soft, medium, and hard tires. Teams whose first stint (driver) ran on hard tires had to pit in as soon as they completed six laps! This is one of the most exciting parts of the offline competition, as the driver change actually takes place right in front of your eyes.
Last season's champion, Sengoku Gaming, switched to soft tires on lap 14! Hiroshi Okumoto takes the role of having to run the remaining 9 laps on soft tires, even though he is in the third stint with low fuel.
The last spurt!
With EVANGELION e-RACING x Waynes Toyota Kanagawa in the lead, TC CORSE Esports MAZDA in first place overall and Sengoku Gaming in second place overall went head-to-head! Hiroshi Okumoto on soft tires stabbed Tatsuhiko Kato on hard tires in a straight line to take second place for Sengoku Gaming!
The audience was glued to the fierce battle for the championship.
TC CORSE Esports MAZDA was unable to block the following teams due to the difference in tires, and lost position. The checkered flag was then flown!

I am a little disappointed that we did not finish first in the round finals, but I am very happy to have won the championship for the second consecutive year for the first time in the history of the competition. An exhibition race with a great surge of excitement
In the exhibition race, held in between the round finals, the real racers such as Nobuteru Taniguchi (@NOB_TANIGUCHI ), Fumiki Oyu (@Oyu_Toshiki0804 ), and Miki Koyama (@mkhouse001 ), as well as Sumire Sawa (@sumiresour ), Vodka (@VodkaChaso), and Vodka (@VodkaChaso) were all invited to participate in the exhibition race. sumiresour ), Vodka (@VodkaChaso ), Noriaki Suzuki (@NORIAKIISGOOD ), SPYGEA (@spygea_jp ), Dogura (@maneater_dgr ), and influencer ta1yo (@ta1yo_tv ), A large gathering of professional gamers! We had an impromptu team of drivers drafted in advance of the event.
The course is the "Tokyo Expressway, East Route, Outer Circuit." It is characterized by its narrow width, and even the assistant drivers pit in side-by-side, creating a fierce competition.
After the two assistant drivers from each team have driven two laps each, the leaders pass the baton to the next driver.
Even those of you who are good at fighting and shooting games struggled with the severe difficulty of the racing game. Some crashed into places that were not part of the course, and others caused major crashes involving the cars behind them... It was an exhibition race in the best sense of the word.
!
The team of Fumiki Oyu won the race, showing a stable driving style that was not affected at all by the havoc in the following cars! The team showed the power of real racers even in e-sports.
And so this year's Tokyo Auto Salon eSports Experience came to a close. This year's eSports event, which was larger in scale than last year's Tokyo Auto Salon 2023, attracted so much attention that there was standing room only at every stage. The booths where visitors could experience "Gran Turismo 7" and "Street Fighter 6" were popular with parents and children alike, and I think the event played a solid role in connecting car enthusiasts and e-sports enthusiasts.
Whether you were there on the day of the event or have not yet seen it, the event was a great success. Please check out the archived videos of the "AUTOBACS JEGT GRAND PRIX" on the YouTube channel " JEGT GP Official "!
