The Japan eSports Union (hereinafter, JeSU) announced that it will hold the "Introductory Seminar for eSports Supporters for People with Disabilities" on Sunday, December 7, 2025, with the aim of training personnel to support the participation in eSports of people with disabilities.
Registration for this seminar has also begun.
Following Positive Reception of the February 2025 Seminar, It Is Decided to Be Held Again in December 2025!

eSports are something that can be competed in with anyone if the environment is set up and introduced, even for people who have some kind of disability.
The "Introductory Seminar for eSports Supporters for People with Disabilities," which was held in 2024, received positive feedback from attendees, leading to the decision to hold it again in 2025.
As with previous sessions, the seminar will be subsidized by The Nippon Foundation and is aimed at those with foundational knowledge in medicine and welfare. It will introduce practical knowledge and methods, such as equipment and environment setup and appropriate support, regarding the participation of people with disabilities in eSports.
The contents of this seminar are as follows:
- Lecture by a representative of the Japan eSports Union
- Lecture by a current occupational therapist
- Various eSports experiences
- Appropriate environment adjustments for eSports play using accessibility controllers, etc.
- Acquiring support methods through disability experience
The target attendees for the seminar are, in principle, those who are high school students or older, including eSports players, those who want to start eSports support for people with disabilities, specialized game development school students, medical professionals, welfare professionals, and other diverse groups.
Participation by people with disabilities is also possible.
The venue is "Chunichi Hall & Conference" in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, so if you live nearby and are interested in eSports or supporting people with disabilities, why not participate?
The seminar is generally the same as the one held previously on Saturday, February 1, 2025.

Applications are now being accepted via the 4th Introductory Seminar for eSports Supporters for People with Disabilities Application Form.
A certificate of completion will be issued after the seminar ends.
Registration is for approximately 30 people on a first-come, first-served basis if there are many applicants, so we recommend applying early.
The application deadline is Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
