With the second free summer update, every Sunday night in August, there will be a fireworks display on the island!
*The event will be held every Sunday in August in both the northern and southern hemispheres.

Tsunekichi has a food stall, and you can draw an "inari raffle" to win various prizes!
It seems that the familiar festival pyro-pyro (official name: blow-back) will also hit the island, which will make you feel the summer atmosphere even more.
If you give "My Design" to Shizue in the square, you can also launch original design fireworks, so why not invite your friends and show off your original fireworks?
"Yumemi" is here!
After the update, you will be lured into a mysterious space when you fall asleep on your bed in your own home, and "Yumemi" will appear.
"Yumemi" collects the island dreams of various people and shows someone's island as a dream, allowing you to walk around the island as if it were real.
You will be able to hear the greetings of the island's inhabitants.
You can also receive My Designs submitted by the author of the island from the "My Design Showcase" located in the square.
You can not only dream about other people's islands, but if you leave your own dream, a "dream number" will be issued and your island can be seen by people all over the world.
However, "Yumemi" is only a dream.
Once you wake up from your dream, no matter what you do or do not do on your island, it will not affect your real island, so you can enjoy your fleeting dreams with peace of mind.
You will need to subscribe to Nintendo Switch Online and connect to the Internet in order to deposit and view your dreams.
New items added to Tanuki Shopping!
"Tanuki Shopping" and "Orihime no Fuku/Hikoboshi no Fuku" named after the Chinese Tanabata "Orihime no Fuku/Hikoboshi no Fuku", etc., are available for the season. Items associated with events in each country will be added!

Save Data Recovery Service" is now available!
Finally, you will be able to back up your save data for "Animal Crossing"!
The Save Data Restore Service, which allows you to back up your data via the Internet and restore your islands from the backup in case of breakdown or loss of your Nintendo Switch console, will be available on July 30, 2020. The Save Data Restore Service will begin on Thursday, July 30, 2020.
In order to use this service, you will need to subscribe to Nintendo Switch Online and set it up in-game after the update, so don't forget to do so!
You may think you are safe now, but there is a word of caution.
Data cannot be restored at any time at the user's discretion.
In case of malfunction, you will need to contact the Nintendo Service Center for repair, and in case of loss, you will need to contact support.
The "Saved Data Restore Service" is not a function to move data to another Nintendo Switch.
The "Move to New Switch" feature is scheduled to be available by the end of this year, so wait a little longer before you buy a new console!
