It has been revealed that the Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows versions of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (hereafter, FFVII Rebirth) will be released on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.
Along with this, various purchase bonuses for the physical and digital versions have been revealed.

Switch 2 Version of FFVII Rebirth Set to Release on Wednesday, June 3, 2026!
During the Nintendo Direct Soft Maker Lineup 2026.2.5 held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, it was announced that the release date for the Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows versions of FFVII Rebirth has been set for Wednesday, June 3, 2026.
For players who prioritize enjoying the story, this title features the implementation of the Game Boost Function.
It is possible to freely combine multiple enhancement options, such as having HP and MP always full, dealing 9,999 damage to enemies at all times, and possessing the maximum number of each item at all times (with some exceptions).
This will be useful not only for the first playthrough but also for progressing through the game at a smooth pace during subsequent plays.
Additionally, the Nintendo Switch 2 physical version will be sold as a Key Card.
Please note that for the initial play, an internet connection and at least 105GB of free space are required for downloading.
