Square Enix announced the release date for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the gaming brand, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster.
The digital version will be released on Thursday, July 23, 2026, and the physical edition (limited regions) will follow on Thursday, August 27, 2026.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster compiles Final Fantasy X, originally released in 2001, and its sequel Final Fantasy X-2 into a single HD remastered title.
The story of the young boy Tidus and the summoner Yuna as they stand against the great threat Sin comes to life with the gorgeous graphics of the Nintendo Switch 2.
The game features a booster function that includes options to adjust game speed, max out characters, and toggle encounter rates.
This allows players to enjoy the game in their own style, whether they want to breeze through the story or dive deep into the end-game content.

The digital version will be released on Thursday, July 23, 2026, and the physical edition (limited regions) will come out on Thursday, August 27, 2026.
