A life-size Gundam statue appears at Expo '70 in Osaka, Japan!
Less than a year before the opening of the Osaka-Kansai Expo on April 13, 2025 (Sunday), a life-size Gundam statue will appear at the Osaka Expo. Various countries, regions, and private companies from Japan and abroad will exhibit their pavilions at the Osaka-Kansai Expo, which is expected to be a lively event with exhibits of the latest technologies and human interaction.
Speaking of the Osaka-Kansai Expo, NAMCO BANDAI Holdings Inc. has announced its participation in the private sector pavilion " GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION," and has unveiled a new life-size Gundam statue as one of the main attractions of the pavilion!
Speaking of life-size Gundam statues, they have been exhibited in Odaiba, Koto-ku, Tokyo, and Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, but it is the moving Gundam in Naka-ku, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture that has especially attracted fans from all over the world! GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA has attracted a cumulative total of more than 1.75 million visitors since its opening in December 2020, and celebrated its grand finale in March 2024.
