"Dancing in the Tempest" Part 1 Begins Distribution

"MH Now" lets you enjoy exhilarating one-handed hunting while commuting to school or work.
Since September 2023, regular updates have been made, capturing the hearts of hunters with the addition of new monsters and new weapon types.
The first part of "MH Now"'s summer update, "Dancing in the Tempest," launched on Thursday, June 13, 2024!
The main attraction is, without a doubt, the debut of the first Elder Dragon, "Kushala Daora"!

Kushala Daora, which appears out of nowhere with a fierce storm, makes its first appearance in MH Now!
The new element, "Elder Dragon Interceptions," occurs at specific points on the field and is accessible to players who are HR11 or higher.
Unlike regular hunting, you can obtain rewards by slaying it, and repel rewards are also granted by reducing its health below a certain level.

Weapons crafted from Elder Dragon materials obtained in the "Elder Dragon Interceptions" are imbued with a skill called "Hunter's Unity," which increases the damage dealt based on the number of people who have activated the same skill.
Given that Elder Dragons are a natural disaster for humans, the skill—which is proof of repelling one—seems promising!
Cooperation with your friends is required more than ever before!

New Monsters "Khezu" and "Basarios"

Kushala Daora is not the only new monster!
The Bizarre Wyvern, Khezu, and the Stone Wyvern, Basarios, are joining the battle in MH Now!

Speaking of MH Now, monsters have been added based on the world of "Monster Hunter: World," such as Radobaan, Banbaro, and Odogaron.
However, this update breaks that precedent, with Khezu and Basarios joining the game!
Those who were pessimistic, thinking, "Since it's World-based, maybe my favorite monster won't be in it..." can now rest easy.
More monsters are planned to be added every month in the future, so let's look forward to them!

New Weapon Type "Gunlance"

The new weapon type, "Gunlance," has finally been implemented!
The Gunlance, the counterpart to the "Lance" released in December 2023, is a niche weapon type favored by experts and is now available in MH Now.

Its main features are its formidable defensive capabilities and explosive damage from shelling.
The SP Skill "Wyvern's Fire" unleashes powerful shelling using the highest-level technology.

The "Gunlance" is known in the "Monster Hunter" series to be particularly effective against monsters with hard hides.
The monster added this time is Basarios... Now I see!

New Element "Friend Quests"

The new element "Friend Quests" has been added with this update.
Friend Quests are a feature that allows you to challenge quests with your friends to achieve goals based on shared progress, such as the total number of monsters slain.
They are distributed every Thursday at 9:00 AM Japan time, and players can only participate in one per week.
Up to 4 people can participate in one quest, and each quest can be cleared a maximum of 5 times!
Cooperate with your hunting buddies to obtain substantial rewards!

"MH Now" will celebrate its 1st anniversary in September 2024.
The roadmap, which was released in May 2024, clearly states that new monsters—including a Leviathan—are also scheduled to be added in July and August 2024.
Furthermore, updates are also planned for the fall and winter!

While we look forward to future plans, for now, we must enjoy the major update, "Dancing in the Tempest" Part 1, which has just been released!
It's time to face the Kushala Daora rampage with our hunting buddies while walking around town!
