The results of the 36th "NES People's Poll" on "What do you think of 'Farewell'? The results of the "Famicom National Poll" have been announced, and the top 20 are now available on the Famicom 40th Anniversary Campaign website! This is a very timely topic for those of you who will be entering a new environment this spring, as I am sure you have gone through various "goodbyes. Since "goodbye" scenes are often a major turning point in a work of art, many of them are quite memorable, and " Final Fantasy II " took first place with 22% of the votes! The second place went to " Dragon Quest III: And to the Legend " with 13.7% of the votes, and the third place went to " Dragon Quest IV: The Fellowship of the S aved", which I also voted for, with 9.5% of the votes. The top 20 games also included RPGs and simulations! Many of the titles in the top 20 are RPGs, simulations, and other narrative genres, but as mentioned above, the "farewell" scene is often a major turning point in the story.
