Pokemon x Hatsune Miku "Project VOLTAGE" starts on August 31, 2023 (Thursday)! Teaser Visual Revealed!

Pokemon and Hatsune Miku collaborate on music! Pokemon feat. Hatsune Miku Project VOLTAGE 18 Types/Songs " ("Project VOLTAGE") will be launched on August 31, 2023 (Thursday). In reference to the 18 types of Pokémon, songs and music videos by 18 music creators will be released over a period of several months!

On Thursday, August 31, 2023, "Project VOLTAGE," a dream collaboration between Hatsune Miku and Pokemon, was announced. The teaser visual was created by KEI (@keigarou ), who was in charge of character design when Hatsune Miku was developed, and depicts Hatsune Miku holding a monster ball, along with Kamonegi and Pikachu. It is a highly anticipated piece that marks the beginning of a collaboration that no one knows about yet!

In this project, 18 music creators will release a series of music and music videos sampling the official Pokemon game soundtracks over several months starting on September 29, 2023 (Friday), in reference to the 18 different types of Pokemon. Prior to the release of the music and music videos, 18 illustrations of Hatsune Miku as a Pokémon trainer and setting materials will be released sequentially from September 4, 2023 (Monday)! 18 illustrations depicting Hatsune Miku & her Pokémon partners by type will be released!

Prior to the release of the music piece, illustrations and setting materials of "18 types of Pokémon trainer Hatsune Miku & stick Pokémon" will be released on the official X account (@PokeMikuVOLTAGE ) of the project. One type per day will be released from Monday, September 4 to Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 19:00 on weekday nights. Six creators have drawn a new Pokémon trainer with the theme of "What if Hatsune Miku was a Fatty Type Pokémon Trainer? The participating creators will be announced at the same time each illustration is released! "Project VOLTAGE" is a unique collaboration with 18 Pokémon that Hatsune Miku has chosen as her partners.

18 sampling songs & music videos by 18 music creators

The 18 songs and music videos by 18 music creators will be released sequentially over the next few months after the project gets underway with the release of the illustrations and setting materials. The first release will be on Friday, September 29, 2023 at 19: 00. The common theme for the creation of the music is " Pokemon feat. Hatsune Miku " and the sampling of game background music and sound effects from the "Pokemon" series. Each creator has the freedom to sample familiar game sounds, create unique songs sung by Hatsune Miku, and create music videos featuring Pokémon and Hatsune Miku! The participating creators will be announced at 19:00 on Thursday, September 28, 2023!
