It has been decided that Noto Satoyama Airport will undergo a renewal opening as the world's first airport bearing the Pokémon name, NOTO SATOYAMA POKÉMON with YOU AIRPORT!
This will be a limited-time initiative running from Tuesday, July 7, 2026, to the end of September 2029.
NOTO SATOYAMA POKÉMON with YOU AIRPORT Opens on July 7! Enjoy the Inside of the Airport Overflowing with Pokémon
Ishikawa Prefecture and the Pokémon with YOU Foundation are moving forward with initiatives aimed at bringing smiles to the disaster-stricken areas of the Noto Peninsula Earthquake.
As part of these initiatives, Noto Airport will experience a renewal opening on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, as the first airport bearing the Pokémon name, NOTO SATOYAMA POKÉMON with YOU AIRPORT!

Pokémon Appear Everywhere! Decorations at NOTO SATOYAMA POKÉMON with YOU AIRPORT
In conjunction with the renewal, the inside of the airport will be decorated with various Pokémon!
Logo
PR TIMESThe airport's exclusive logo is a bright and gorgeous design filled with the desire to deliver cheer.
With Poké Balls and Pikachu as motifs, it incorporates the topography of the Noto Peninsula as well as the smiles of local residents and travelers.
2nd Floor Atrium
PR TIMESIn the 2nd floor atrium area, there will be a large Pikachu and airplane balloon that will serve as the symbol of the airport.
Countless Pokémon will soar comfortably through the air around it.
Including this atrium area, the airport premises will be decorated with all 111 Flying-type Pokémon discovered as of May 2026!
1st Floor Arrival Lobby
PR TIMESThe 1st floor arrival lobby will feature a large-scale decoration designed with the Bright Future art, which was created in 2024 to support the recovery of Noto.
The Pikachu, Plusle, and Minun depicted at the center of the artwork will become 3D monuments.
Exterior
PR TIMESThe logo mark will also be designed on the upper part of the airport's exterior.
Pokémon will line up all along the pillars at the airport entrance, creating a sense of excitement for the start of a journey.

At the renewed airport, you can also enjoy other initiatives related to Pokémon.
Observation Deck Pikachu's Satoyama
PR TIMESAn innumerable number of Pikachu will gather on the airport's observation deck!
The Pikachu will form the shape of the satoyama (border zone between foothills and arable flat land) that is also included in the airport's name.
If you look closely, there might be a few other Pokémon mixed in with the Pikachu...?
Short Videos Airport Side Story

Inside the airport, you can use your smartphone to watch three exclusive short videos.
One of them, ”Tobe! Tatsubei”> (Fly! Bagon), is a story about a Bagon that longs for the sky.
This video links with the monument of Bagon looking up at Salamence inside the airport.
The other two stories will also make your time at the airport and your journey through Noto a little more enjoyable.
Opening Commemoration! Exclusive Art "Kibou no Sora"
PR TIMESTo commemorate the opening of the airport, the exclusive art "Kibou no Sora" (Sky of Hope) was drawn.
Through the expression of radiant light and a shimmering rainbow, many Flying-type Pokémon represent the "hope" of heading toward a new journey.
This art is scheduled to be utilized for various decorations inside the airport building, exclusive airport items, wrapped buses, and more!
Pokémon Exclusive Menus Appear! Airport Restaurant
At Restaurant Annon on the 3rd floor of the airport, airport exclusive Pokémon menus will appear!
Two types of pancakes and two types of drinks are scheduled to be sold.
There is also a service where if you order a pancake and a drink as a set, they will be served on an exclusive placemat.
Available Only at the Airport Shop! Exclusive Items Also Appear
PR TIMESThe shop Serendipity on the 2nd floor of the airport plans to release exclusive items designed with the airport logo and the exclusive art "Kibou no Sora"!
In addition to T-shirts and keychains, a lineup of items unique to an airport, such as luggage tags and suitcase belts, will also be available.
Pokémon Wrapped Buses to Run! A Journey Around the Noto Peninsula from the Airport
From mid-July after the airport opens, two Hokuriku Railroad Group buses are scheduled to appear within Ishikawa Prefecture as Pokémon wrapped buses.
Noto Area Express Bus (Wajima – Kanazawa / Existing Route)
An express bus connecting Kanazawa Station, the airport, and Wajima City.
The bus wrapped in Pokémon is scheduled to operate one round trip per day.
Noto Area Express Bus (New Route)
A sightseeing bus connecting the airport to various Pokémon tourist spots across the Noto Peninsula.
It is convenient for visiting Pokémon spots that can only be enjoyed in Noto, such as the Wakura Pokémon Footbath which opened in Wakura Onsen, Nanao City on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, and the Sylveon with LOVE monument installed in Suzu City.
Note that the route is scheduled to be announced at a later date.
