Capcom Co., Ltd. announced that three titles—Resident Evil 2 Z Version Deluxe Edition, Resident Evil 3 Z Version, and Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition—will launch on Nintendo Switch 2.
In addition, playable demos for all three titles will be available at the Capcom booth during Tokyo Game Show 2026 (TGS2026) at Makuhari Messe.

While honoring the core of the original classics, these three titles were completely remade with fresh concepts and the proprietary RE ENGINE.
The release dates are set for Friday, October 16, 2026 for the digital editions and Friday, January 29, 2027 for the physical editions.
Additionally, the digital editions are available at a limited-time promotional discount of 1,000 yen off the regular price through Saturday, November 7, 2026.
The lineup and pricing for the three eligible titles are as follows:
- Resident Evil 2 Z Version Deluxe Edition: Regular Price 3,990 yen (tax included) / Special Price 2,990 yen (tax included)
- Resident Evil 3 Z Version: Regular Price 2,990 yen (tax included) / Special Price 1,990 yen (tax included)
- Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition: Regular Price 4,990 yen (tax included) / Special Price 3,990 yen (tax included)
With the arrival of these three titles alongside Resident Evil CODE: Veronica slated for 2027, every mainline equivalent entry in the franchise will be playable on Nintendo Switch 2.
