Yasmin's Profile
- Hometown: Philippines
- Height: 163 cm
- Weight: 59 kg
- Likes: Family, eating
- Dislikes: When I’m indecisive
- Voice Actress: Kana Hishikawa
A girl who plunged into the world of street fighting in pursuit of her missing older brother.
She fights using practical techniques passed down from her grandfather.
She’s a high school girl with a soothing personality, though she’s usually a bit shy around new people.
Yasmin learned how to fight from her grandfather (Lolo) alongside her older brother (Kuya).
At first, she began her training simply because she wanted to spend time with her brother, but one day, he suddenly vanished. Losing sight of the meaning behind her fighting as a result, Yasmin began spending her days endlessly watching videos on “FooTube.”
However, one day, after coming across a video featuring a certain French supermodel, she regained her lost passion and resolved to step out into the world once again to forge her own path in her brother’s footsteps!
In terms of her backstory, she’s a very refreshing addition— being from the Philippines, a first for the Street Fighter series.
Also, when you hear “a certain French supermodel,” Street Fighter 6 players might think of a certain character…
As for the story, it might be explored in more depth in Arcade Mode or similar modes.
Let’s look forward to Yasmin’s release.
Yasmin’s Fighting Style
PR TIMES Yasmin is a fighter with excellent mobility.
Her battle style is characterized by confusing opponents with quick movements and then striking swiftly with her trusty knife.
Furthermore, by combining this with “Bayani Mode” —which we’ll introduce later—she gains the speed to keep opponents at bay and the ability to unleash lightning-fast combos that are almost too quick for the eye to follow.
Daloy ng Tubig
PR TIMES A special move where she rapidly advances while unleashing a series of attacks with her karambit knife.
It’s effective for starting combos from normal moves, and when branched into “Alon, ” she unleashes a flurry of slashes.
This unique move changes in nature depending on the intensity of the first hit, and its finish also varies.
The Overdrive (hereinafter OD) version can be chained into a combo from a light attack and can be canceled into a Super Art.
It can be enhanced to transform “Alon” into a powerful strike that sends the opponent flying a great distance.
Additionally, if the OD version connects, it allows you to maintain “Bayan Mode,” which will be introduced later.
Landing this move seems to be the key to Yasmin’s strategy.
Bayani Mode
PR TIMESWhen Aron lands a hit, he enters Bayani Mode, and his knife begins to glow blue.
PR TIMES When Aron is used in this state, its finishing moves change: the light version knocks the opponent down, the medium version causes them to bounce off the ground, and the heavy version launches the opponent higher than usual.
Bayani Mode ends after the move is completed, so assess the situation carefully and use it strategically.
Talim ng Hangin
PR TIMES
A move where she spins forward while slashing with her karambit knife.
It’s effective as a surprise attack that also closes the distance to the opponent; the Light version is excellent as a feint, while the Medium and Heavy versions are characterized by significant forward movement.
The medium version leaves little opening even if blocked, and while the strong version has a slightly slower startup, it grants Yasmin frame advantage—meaning she can move first even if blocked.
Hitting with this move also triggers a transition to Bayani Mode.
The OD version carries some risk if blocked, but if it hits, it launches the opponent, creating an opportunity for follow-up attacks.
Since the situation changes completely depending on whether it hits or is blocked, be careful when deciding when to use it.
Mukha ng Langit
This is a move where you jump forward while spinning; the distance traveled varies depending on the intensity of the button press, and it can branch into two different moves.
The first variant, "Kulog," is a move where you kick your opponent like an eagle’s talon while plummeting downward.
You can adjust the angle of descent by varying the button input strength; it leaves little opening even if blocked, and when it connects, it can lead into a combo starting with a light attack.
The second variant, “Ulan,” is a move where you attack the opponent while spinning upside down.
It’s effective when targeting the opponent’s back, and if you land it well, you can follow up with additional attacks.
In the OD version, both variants have minimal recovery even if blocked, and you may be able to act first, so use them strategically based on the situation and attack aggressively.
Lipad ng Agila
PR TIMES This is an anti-air move where you kick upward; if it connects, you’ll follow up with a series of kicks, making it ideal for finishing combos.
The OD version grants invincibility upon activation, making it effective as a counterattack—a reliable move even when you’re in a pinch.
It’s perfect for what’s known as “reverse invincibility.”
Pangil sa Likuran
PR TIMES A projectile that traces a boomerang-like trajectory; its range varies depending on the button strength.
Although it has a slightly slow startup, it can force the opponent into a difficult choice when used for combos or to break their guard.
The boomerang disappears if Yasmin takes damage.
Since there is no “guaranteed startup,” be careful not to focus too much on offense and neglect your defense.
PR TIMESThe OD version deals 3 hits, making it effective for creating further offensive opportunities.
Level 1 Super Art: Hiwa ng Kalangitan
PR TIMES A move where you kick your opponent into the air, grab them, and then slam them forcefully into the ground.
It has invincibility frames upon activation, making it effective for counterattacks and interrupts.
When it connects, you enter Bayani Mode, so if it lands, don’t hesitate to press your advantage.
Level 2 Super Art: Nakatagong Lakas
PR TIMES
For a certain period after activation, you can use enhanced special moves while remaining in Bayani Mode.
While active, you can also use the exclusive move " Linya ng Liwanag, " which allows you to quickly move forward to attack and then circle around to the opponent’s back.
Furthermore, in this state, the OD version of Alon’s abilities change, evolving into a powerful move that slices the opponent with a blade of energy.
Level 3 Super Art: Pamumukadkad ng Sampaguita
PR TIMES
A massive move that gathers energy while spinning the opponent, then shatters them in one fell swoop.
It’s sure to be useful not only for counterattacks that take advantage of invincibility frames but also as a finisher for combos.
The beautiful blue effects are striking—they look impressive even in still images.
Yasmin’s Outfit 2
PR TIMES
Yasmin’s Outfit 2 is her school uniform, worn when she’s off the battlefield.
You can unlock it by playing Avatar Arcade mode and filling Master Yasmin’s “Acquisition Gauge” to MAX, or you can purchase it with Fighter Coins.
For more details on Yasmin and how to purchase her, please check the official "Street Fighter 6" website or Steam.
