Aladdin X Corporation, the developer and operator of products such as the 3-in-1 projector with integrated lighting, has released the two-player mode for the Nintendo Switch version of Suika Game.
In two-player mode, players can enjoy three variations in total.
Two-Player Mode Arrives in Suika Game!
In the Nintendo Direct: Soft Maker Lineup 2024.2.21 broadcast on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, the addition of a two-player mode to the Nintendo Switch version of Suika Game was announced.
The Nintendo Switch software Suika Game began distribution on the Nintendo eShop in December 2021, and as of February 21, 2024, it has become a hot topic with over 6 million cumulative downloads both in Japan and overseas.
In response to fans wanting to enjoy Suika Game together with others, it was decided to release a two-player mode that allows two people to play Suika Game on Nintendo Switch.
In the newly released two-player mode, three modes are available: Original, Time Limit, and Attack.
Original

Original is a simple rule where the player with the higher score wins.
Players start at the same time, and the game ends when a player's own box becomes full.
The player with the higher score at the point each player finishes playing wins.
Time Limit

In Time Limit, each player competes for the best score within a 5-minute time limit.
If the Rainbow Gauge attached to Poppy, who drops the fruit, runs out, the fruit will drop on its own.
As the remaining time decreases, the speed at which the Rainbow Gauge depletes increases, so caution is necessary.
The player with the higher score at the end of the round wins.
Attack

In Attack, you can perform Evolution—combining two small fruits to make them larger—5 times to send fruit into the opponent's box and drop it at any time.
Send large fruits to pressure their box.
Online Battle Mode Also Scheduled for Spring 2024!
The Suika Game Multi-Player Mode Expansion Pack has been on sale since Wednesday, February 21, 2024.
The selling price is 180 yen (tax included), and it can be purchased at the My Nintendo Store and Nintendo eShop.
Please note that the base Suika Game is required to play the two-player mode.
Furthermore, while the two-player mode released this time is an offline battle mode, an Online Battle Mode that allows you to play with other users over the internet is scheduled for distribution in Spring 2024.
If you purchase the Suika Game Multi-Player Mode Expansion Pack released this time, you will also be able to use the Online Battle Mode after its release, so please purchase it and wait for the update.
