ASUS Japan, Inc. has released the "ROG Eye", a new webcam for streaming smooth video at 1080p/60fps from its gaming brand "ROG".

When it was first announced in April 2019, we were so impressed with its excellent specs and stylish design that we said "I'll buy it as soon as it goes on sale". But after no additional information, I thought, "Maybe it won't be released in Japan? Thank God!
High performance as announced at the time
"ROG Eye" will be sold with the same high performance as the specs we introduced at the time of the announcement.
It features 1080p resolution and 60fps frame rate, Wide Dynamic Range technology to minimize overexposure even in backlit conditions, and a blue glass lens that filters out infrared light to reduce color shift for smooth, easy-to-view video.
The ROG Eye also features Face Auto Exposureand Auto Focus Technology, which automatically detects faces and fine-tunes the image to brighten faces and make them stand out from the background, making it ideal for delivery in dark locations. This makes it ideal for delivery in dark locations.
The "ROG Eye" is equipped with dual microphones to record and deliver audio, and beamforming technology filters out noise other than the voice.
