LG has announced a 44.5" 5K2K (5,120 x 2,160) resolution OLED gaming monitor, the 45GX950B-B. Pre-orders will be accepted from Friday, May 1, 2026 through Wednesday, June 10, 2026, and general sales will begin on Thursday, June 11, 2026.
LG's new ultra-wide OLED gaming monitor "45GX950B-B" is now available!
The "45GX950B-B" is an ultra-wide gaming monitor equipped with an OLED panel that uses a micro lens array (MLA ). The large 44.5-inch display with a high resolution of 5K2K (5,120 x 2,160) allows you to see the entire screen without having to adjust the focus of your eyes, immersing you in the world of gaming. The screen is 33% wider than typical monitors with an aspect ratio of 16:9, allowing for increased productivity in creative work.
Supports "VESA Dual Mode" and Aspect Ratio Switching
VESA Dual Mode" supports switching between 5K2K (5,120 x 2,160) at 165Hz or UWFHD (2,560 x 1,080) at 330Hz. The screen size can be selected from 39" to 24.5", and the aspect ratio can be switched between 21:9 and 16:9. The response time is 0.03ms (GTG), which enables the display of clear images even in scenes with intense motion.
Three AI Functions
The following three AI functions are provided to improve video and audio performance.
- AI Upscaling: The built-in processor upscales low-resolution content to 5K2K resolution in real time.
- AI Sound: Optimizes sound to match the content, making footsteps and other sound effects clearer.
- AI Scene Optimization: AI recognizes the displayed content and automatically adjusts key image settings to optimize the display.
USB Type-C port supporting up to 90W
One DisplayPort 2.1 port, two HDMI ports, one USB Type-C port, and two USB 3.0 ports. The USB Type-C port supports USB PD of up to 90W, and allows for display connection, power supply, and data transfer all with a single cable.
The display features 7W+7W stereo speakers, OLED Care to prevent burn-in, and Live Color Low Blue Light to suppress blue light without color change. It also supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible to reduce tearing and stuttering.
The price at the official LG online store is 329,800 yen (including tax). During the pre-order period until Wednesday, June 10, 2026, the price will be reduced by 21% to 259,800 yen (tax included). For details, please see the "45GX950B-B" product page.
